Start with a complete assessment

Implant planning begins with your dental and medical history, an examination of the teeth and gums, and suitable imaging. This helps your dentist assess bone support and the space available for a replacement tooth.

Bring useful information

Share your current medicines, allergies, previous dental treatment and any health conditions. If you already have recent dental X-rays or reports, bring them to the consultation.

Ask about the treatment stages

Implant care may include preparation, placement, healing and fitting the final tooth. The timing varies for each person, so ask what stages are expected in your individual plan and how to care for the area between visits.

Plan for long-term care

An implant needs regular brushing, cleaning between the teeth and dental reviews just like natural teeth. Good daily care and healthy gums are central to a lasting result.
